Not long ago I had the pleasure of meeting the most beautiful family, to photograph the new addition to their family.
Little Alistair was 8 weeks old when they welcomed me into their home to capture him and their family at this special time. Miss 3 was the most adoring big sister I have ever come across, she couldn’t get enough of her new baby brother. She smothered him with love, in the best way possible!
As you may have heard, I’m now (well when I’m able to be back behind the camera!) offering newborn sessions in your home, rather than in my studio. And as you can see from this shoot, we can capture some beautiful memories, all in the comfort of your home. The sessions are relaxed, older siblings are free to play and be included in the photos when they’re needed, and we can incorporate parts of your home and garden that hold a special place in your heart.
Time moves at such a rapid rate these days, and I think having your newborn photographed in the place you feel most comfortable, where all your memories are made, will mean so much more in years to come. Whether you move houses and can look back at the house you first brought your baby home to, or if it’s your forever home and you can show your grandbabies their Mummy or Daddy as a baby, in the only house they’ve ever known. How special that will be.
